What’s the Ideal Thickness for High-Quality Business Cards?

Hi all,

I’m currently designing business cards and want them to feel substantial and high-quality when handed out. I’ve seen various options in terms of card thickness (like 16pt, 32pt, etc.), but I’m not sure what thickness gives the best impression without feeling too bulky.

For those who have printed business cards before, what thickness do you recommend for a premium feel? Does a thicker card really make a difference in how people perceive the brand?
